Like Pong, but actually somewhat fun to play! There's actually some skill involved here, as you can send the ball firing towards your opponent (the computer ... it's only a one player game) and also move forward and backwards into the foreground. The wire-frame graphics simulate a 3D perspective. Pretty cool, although at a certain point the computer opponent seems to become too difficult to beat. Bounce Zone is a classic DOS game released in 1990 by COMPUTE! Publications, Inc. It's a 3D take on the classic Pong game, adding a new dimension to the gameplay. Key Features: 3D Gameplay: Unlike traditional Pong, Bounce Zone takes place in a 3D rectangular court. Dual-Axis Control: Players control their paddles using two axes, allowing for more complex maneuvers. Bouncing Off Walls and Ceiling: The ball can bounce off not only the walls but also the floor and ceiling, adding a new layer of strategy. First-Person Perspective: The game is played from a first-person perspective, giving players a unique view of the action.
